Ground Floor

HR & Admin section, Knitting section, Dying section

Knitting section: Total 16 nos of circular knitting machine were running.

Dying Section: 11 nos. of dyeing and washing machines of German/Green origin and 02 nos of dryer machine of Switzerland and Taiwan origin. All the machines are 7-8 years old.

2nd & 3rd floor

Sewing and finishing section 

Production capacity

 Knitting Section :

Total 18 nos of circular knitting machine were running. Production capacity of 16 nos of circular knitting machine is 3 ton per day.

Circular knitting machines produce 2 types of fabrics i.e cotton & polyester.

For cotton fabric: 16 machines can produce approx. 300 kg in 24 hour

For polyester fabric: 16 machines can produce approx. 100 kg in 24 hour

 

Dyeing Section :

Production capacity is average 12 ton per day.

Workers and Staff

Total nos. of workers & staffs is 612.

Status of Compliance

The factory of Grameen Knitwear Ltd. is a compliant one. ACCORD/RSC has inspected the factory and provide certificate. Besides they have some compliance certifications such as Sedex, BSCI, GOTS, OCS, GRS, OEKO - TEX

Utility/power supply

Presently the factory has 1000 KVA substation. Besides they have 04 nos of Air compressor of Germany & Belgium origin and 04 nos of steam boiler of England origin. Besides they have 03 nos of Disel generator and proper Water Treatment plant.
